I truly feel that I have a message to share with all young girls navigating their way through elementary or middle school. For years, I thought certain girls around me were my friends. They weren't. They excluded me from events and made me feel like I wasn't enough. The truth is that those girls weren't enough. They didn't love themselves. When you love yourself, those questionable people that do questionable things aren't questionable anymore. Does that make sense? Their true colors are so bright you need sunglasses! You're no longer left wondering if they forgot to include you in the school fundraiser or if they did it on purpose for the recognition. The best part is that it doesn't matter anymore! You won't care. I don't care. I don't care what those girls think of me. I don't care what they say about me. Their opinions are irrelevant.

The only opinion of you that matters should be your own.
